Lesson Acts 2
  • The apostles were gathered together in Jerusalem
  • The Holy Spirit gave them power and there appeared something like tongues of flame over each one's head
    • Craft: Copy a coloring page of the apostles gathered together. Help the students cut out little "flames" of red and orange construction paper. Glue to flames to the paper as you discuss what happened.
  • Peter and the others preached to the large crowd gathered for Pentecost
    •  Discuss how many people from many nations heard their own language as Peter, a Galilean fisherman, spoke.
  • 3,000 souls were saved

    Memory Verse: Act out the memory verse Acts 2:38 Repent (turn around) and be baptized (hold nose and go under water) every one of you (point to everyone in class)
