Sunday School Teachers' Workshop
Sunday School teachers of all ages! Learn practical techniques that
make your planning easier, your teaching more effective, and your
students more interested in God's Word. Kim Dailey, author of Sunday
School Sources at eBibleTeacher.com presents full-day seminars for
Sunday School Teachers of all ages, focusing on practical ways to
improve effectiveness and take the pain out of preparing lessons.
Levels of Learning:
What can students of different ages understand and how to we pull
them to higher levels on comprehension? Specific techniques to know whether your
class "got it".
People learn best in different ways. Teaching to those different
styles can increase comprehension, prevent behavior problems, add
variety, and aid the teacher in preparing lessons. You can
incorporate these ideas into any class!
Preventing Behavior Problems:
How to define boundaries, pre-empt problems and effectively
guide students toward better behavior.
Lesson Planning Techniques:
Specific tips and techniques that take work out of lesson
planning and save your creative juices for the really important part
- teaching kids about God! Tools to help you adapt your lesson
activities, save valuable material for reuse, and utilize the
digital resources available for your class.
Enhance your material with quality clip art, useful ideas,
interactive media, and printable worksheets. We'll review the best
Sunday School web sites and discuss some commercial products.
Making Your Own Material:
Samples of a multitude of class materials you can make at home
with basic office supplies. Tips for getting the most of your time
and money, and adapting the ideas to your class.
Hands On Practice:
We end the workshop with a hands-on session where you put into
practice all the techniques we've discussed.
